Not what I need Although Quick Voice is clearly a good product. When I down loaded it I had read a review which indicated it had the ability to change the sound of voice output (disguise voice)which was the kind of program I was looking for on the OSX platform. alas it was not and is therefore not of use to me QuickVoice might consider this need in the Mac community in the design of future apps as this commonly avilable type of program on the windows platform is not avilable in the OSX community.

Quickvoice review I like the look of Quickvoice very much. However, I found it difficult to use and it didn't work as well as I hoped it would. I was looking for a program to record dictations. RecordPad Sound Recorder Brief Review As not v. experienced RP_S_R user, I had only difficulties to recognize whether I record stereo or mono mode. Some more apparent sign (color of microphone… ?) might be seen. I have stilldifficulties to set proper volume level in my PC sound cart, as the matter of fact sound cart volume level needs to be set very low to not get over-control record ?.

RecordPad is a very good little tool, but since I was trying to save an audio streaming youtube, it was unable to capture the audio information as the youtube file played. Other than that, RecordPad is perfect for all other audio-capturing applications. I probably didn't do enough research about what RecordPad offered when I selected it, or otherwise didn't understand that it couldn't collect streaming audio. Does what it says on the tin Where GarageBand falls down (as with all Apple Software) is that it isn't very good at exporting to standard file formats, so you cannot record and save something in MP3 or WAV format. It is therefore useless for recording vocals or a live mix. great, simple sound recorded While I am a professional sound guy, my Dad isn't. He needed a simple, easy to use Mac OS X voice recorder, and this is just about perfect. Only complaint is that the playlist window does not remember it's position from one launch to the next.

Not for me The program does not differentiate what is coming through the sound card and what the computer mike picks up -- the program lays down both in the audio tracks. Not helpful to have room noises in a recording.

I am interested in obtaining a program that will allow me to make timer recordings of streaming audio.I decided to download the trial version of audio recorder pro to determine if the program will meet my needs before purchasing it.However the trial version limits the duration of recordings to only 1 minute rendering the it pretty much useless for the purpose of evaluation.I thought this was rather ridiculous and did not waste any more of my time with it.I went on to download a similar program from a different vendor and it meets my needs quite well ...
